A North Carolina bus driver is now charged with failure to yield after he caused a crash that injured nine children. The driver, a 50-year-old male, was transporting 25 students from Rogers Elementary School near Williamston when the accident occurred.
According to investigators, the bus driver was trying to make a turn off the highway. He misjudged his time, turned too short, and his bus hit another vehicle. The bus driver and two people in the other car were also injured.
